Three coaching frameworks
Grounded in Acceptance & Commitment Coaching (values clarification and committed action), Motivational Interviewing (the OARS method — open questions, affirmations, reflections, summaries), and Solutions-Focused Coaching (scaling questions, exception-finding, preferred futures). These are evidence-based approaches used by professional coaches worldwide.
Progressive coaching stages
New users receive light-touch, exploratory guidance. As engagement deepens — through assessments, check-ins, journaling, and pathway work — the AI adapts its techniques, language, and depth. The coaching evolves with you, from orientation through to self-coaching capability.
Cross-session memory
The AI learns what works for you specifically: your values, recurring themes, effective practices, blocks, and commitments. It remembers across sessions, creating continuity — not disconnected conversations. Over time, it gets better at coaching you as an individual.
Data-grounded, not generic
Every observation references your actual scores, trends, and patterns — not generic wellness advice. The AI speaks to your specific dimension profile, your archetype, your cascade pattern, and your pathway progress. If it doesn't have enough data, it says so.
Readiness-aware progression
The AI does not push you toward action if you are still in a contemplation phase — even if your engagement metrics suggest readiness. Based on the Transtheoretical Model of behavioural change (Prochaska & DiClemente), it recognises where you are psychologically and adapts its coaching stage accordingly. This prevents the common failure mode of self-improvement tools: pushing too much, too soon.
Adaptive coaching density
The AI reads your current state across five axes — including vulnerability, opportunity, and intervention saturation — and adjusts the depth of every response accordingly. When you are struggling, it provides full-depth support. When you are steady, it keeps things brief. When you have received too many interventions recently, it dials everything back to prevent overwhelm. This is automatic — you do not need to configure it.
Cascade-aware targeting
The AI does not simply address your lowest dimension. It identifies which dimension is the upstream trigger — the one whose improvement would prevent downstream effects in connected dimensions. It learns your personal cascade patterns from your check-in history and prioritises interventions at the point of maximum leverage.
Course-correction and repair
If the AI misreads you — misinterprets a pattern, pushes too hard, or gets the tone wrong — it is trained with explicit repair moves: humble inquiry, course correction, and honest acknowledgement. It never insists its interpretation is correct, never repeats an observation after pushback, and never treats resistance as something to overcome. This models healthy relationship dynamics as a coaching act.
Deep safety architecture
The safety system is one of the most deeply engineered parts of the platform. Every interaction passes through over 50 detection patterns across 11 clinical categories — from immediate crisis signals to domestic violence indicators, disordered eating patterns, dissociation, and trauma responses. The system includes validated micro-screeners (PHQ-2 for depression, C-SSRS for suicidality), concern score decay over time, dependency tracking, session frequency monitoring, trauma-aware practice warnings, and country-specific helpline referrals. Safety is not a layer on top — it is woven into every interaction.
Context-aware coaching
The AI Coach knows your life context — not just your dimension scores. Financial pressure, life transitions, felt autonomy, and support access are captured during assessment and inform how the coach interprets your patterns. Someone with high financial stress and low Energy gets very different coaching than someone with the same Energy score in a stable financial situation.
Strict scope boundaries
The AI is scoped exclusively to life alignment and wellbeing coaching. It does not answer general knowledge questions, write content, provide medical or clinical advice, or act as a therapist. When something is outside its scope, it redirects. When professional support is warranted, it says so clearly. It actively monitors for dependency patterns and, when detected, redirects you toward your own judgement and human relationships.

Your detected pattern — one of sixteen named archetypes — drives a rotating set of daily tips on your dashboard: lever point reminders, pattern-specific practices, and recognition prompts that keep your attention on what matters most for your profile.
Dimension-aware educational content
When a dimension score is low, the dashboard surfaces contextual guidance: what that score means, how it cascades into other areas, and where to focus first. This is not generic — it adapts to your weakest dimension and updates as your scores change.
Post-check-in micro-guidance
After every daily check-in, the system evaluates your lowest-scoring area and returns a targeted micro-tip — actionable in under five minutes, grounded in evidence-based psychology, and matched to the specific pressure showing up in your data that day.
Weekly AI pattern analysis
Each week, AI analyses your check-ins to detect recurring triggers, hidden patterns, cascade effects, and stabilisation signals — generating a focused report with three concrete actions for the week ahead.
Monthly AI narrative letter
At the end of each month, the system synthesises your full month of data — assessments, weekly reports, daily check-ins, and journal entries — into a personal letter reflecting what shifted, what repeated, and where to direct your attention next.
Evidence-based content library
335 articles and guided micro-practices across all seven content pathways, each mapped to a specific dimension and problem type. Practices include step-by-step instructions, scientific explainers, and closing reflections — surfaced based on your current scores and recommended with personalised reason text explaining why each article is relevant to you specifically.
Guided audio practices
For Premium members, pathway practices are available as AI-generated guided audio. The system expands your daily practice into a flowing guided script matched to your framing preference (evidence-based or contemplative), then generates audio you can listen to with adjustable playback speed. Available for both full practices and 2-minute micro-actions.
Predictive vulnerability warnings
A predictive model analyses your trajectory, cascade history, engagement patterns, and cyclical tendencies to estimate your vulnerability seven days ahead. When elevated risk is detected, the system adjusts coaching density and surfaces protective interventions proactively — before a decline becomes visible in your scores.

Evaligned is a general wellbeing and life alignment coaching tool. It is not a medical device, therapeutic intervention, or clinical mental health service as defined by the MHRA or equivalent regulatory bodies. It does not diagnose, treat, or claim to cure any condition.

What Evaligned is not
It is not a substitute for professional mental health care, therapy, or medical treatment. It does not diagnose mental health conditions, prescribe interventions, or provide clinical treatment. It is not designed for individuals in acute mental health crisis — though it includes active crisis detection and referral protocols when such situations arise. Users experiencing persistent distress, clinical symptoms, or crisis should seek qualified professional support.
Clinical safety protocols are active at all times. The AI monitors for signals of distress across every interaction — chat, journal, and check-in. When concern thresholds are reached, the system recommends professional support (Level 2) or provides crisis resources directly (Level 3). Human practitioner support is available through the platform for users who need deeper, personalised guidance beyond what AI coaching can provide.
